Pierre, his wife Laura (NET USA Alumnus), and 4 of his 6 children will be moving to Ottawa this summer from Regina, Saskatchewan. He has a background in ministry work, including 10 years with Catholic Christian Outreach, and brings valuable non-profit experience from many years working in fundraising and alumni development at various educational institutions. Pierre’s entrepreneurial and business spirit combined with his passion for evangelization make the perfect fit to lead NET Canada in its next chapter.

When asked what led him to be interested in this role, Pierre said,

“There are very few Catholic ministries, especially in Canada, that boldly proclaim the truth of the Gospel to young people. I see young people hungering for a truth that they know exists, and hungering for a relationship with a God they sense is real. NET is one of the few ministries that is willing to go out and challenge young people to make that decision for Christ and His Church. There is nothing more exciting than to be a part of a ministry that can impact so many lives in such a powerful way.”

Pierre will begin his role as Executive Director on July 1st. His family is also "excited for this new chapter!", he shared. With his heart for mission and evangelization, there is no doubt that Pierre is the best fit to launch NET Canada into its 25th Anniversary of mission work in Canada!

NET Canada would also like to take this opportunity to thank George Kress for the valuable leadership he provided NET this past year. George will continue to lead NET until Pierre begins on July 1st.
