Hey there! I am Cony and I was born and raised in the beautiful city of San Diego California.

I heard of NET for the very first time in 2023 while I was at World Youth Day in Portugal. My roommate for the week told me that she was becoming a missionary for NET and I thought that was amazing but that was something that wouldn’t fit my plans because I was too busy with school and work.

God clearly had other plans for me because now I am part of the Retreat Team 2. It has been one of the BEST decisions of my life! Since the beginning of training, my relationship with God has grown so much and now I can’t have enough of His love. He is amazing! We have encountered thousands of youth in the east side of Canada (Ontario, Quebec, New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, P.E.I., etc.), since October and we are going for more! We have seen many miracles happen, but the one that impacted me the most was when I asked a youth how does he thinks God sees him. He responded, “I’m just a random kid to God.” My heart immediately shrunk, but during the moment of prayer, I went back to him and told him that I was thinking of his response. He smiled at me and said, “I don’t think I’m a random kid to God anymore.” The rest of the NET year will be wonderful and I cannot wait to see more youth accepting the love of God in their lives.
