NET's (National Evangelization Team) Mission:
To Challenge young Catholics to love Christ and Embrace the Life of the Church
It is accomplished by:
  • Proclaiming the Gospel of Christ through a personal witness of faith.
  • Inviting young people to live for Christ.
  • Forming young people in Christian character through the study and practice of our faith.
  • Equipping youth workers and young adults with the ministry skills needed for evangelization.

Core Values

Commitment to Christ

prayer in church

Christ is both the beginning and the end of our ministry. We recognize that it is Christ who has guidance in all our decisions. All of our efforts are aimed at assisting young people to entrust their lives to Christ and live as His disciples.

We are under the ecclesiastical vigilance of the local bishop in whose diocese our office is located and strive to conduct ourselves in a manner consistent with the clear teaching of the Holy Scriptures and the teaching magisterium of the Roman Catholic Church.

We understand ourselves as part of the Church’s urgent mission of evangelization to go out into the world to awaken the faith of those we serve by inviting them to live as Christ’s disciples.

While evangelization is complex, we understand that it begins with an explicit proclamation of God’s merciful love through both word and personal witness.

We understand that conversion is the work of the Holy Spirit in the heart of the human person. We strive to rely on the Holy Spirit and the gifts the Spirit brings as we reach out to others.

We recognize the powerful witness of brothers and sisters serving together in love and mutual respect and then strive to form community from which mission can flow. We are a relational ministry that emphasizes reaching out to those we serve with relationships marked by welcome, kindness, and mercy in order to encourage young people to open themselves to a relationship with Christ and participation in the Community of the Church.
