Hi! My name is Chris Vandenberg and I come from a small town called Lucan, just north of London, Ontario. I am the second youngest of eight and I love music, spending time outdoors, and meeting new people!

I have come back to serve as a NET missionary for a second year! I have known about NET for most of my life because my family hosted missionaries when I was really young and in Grade 8, I went to two NET retreats! I thought about joining NET for a long time and at the end of high school, I felt the call to mission even more strongly. I applied, discerned, and was accepted! My decision to come back for a second year was inspired by the incredible fruits I witnessed during my first year. The Lord truly worked in and through me and I felt that He wanted me to give another year. I am currently serving on Retreat Team 1. I was also on the retreat team last year and it’s good to be on the road again! This year we are travelling all around Western Canada, visiting parishes and schools and running retreats for young people. The Lord has been with us and we have experienced so many amazing moments in these retreats. It’s an unforgettable experience to meet so many people and hear all their individual stories. I cannot wait to see how the Lord is going to work through this mission throughout the year!
